Good morning,
Yesterday morning I got a call from the secretary at Grace United Church. She wanted to inform me that everyone who works at the church has tested positive for COVID. Because of that, they’ve had to postpone their harvest dinner which was scheduled for this coming Friday October 20th as they’re not permitted to prepare or serve food.
The bad news is that they’ve chosen Friday November 3rd for their new date for the dinner, which is a scheduled CQ sew date. So we have been bumped from Friday November 3rd. Delete it from your calendars as a CQ sew day.The good news is that she offered us the use of the church for this coming Friday October 20 (which was originally a CQ sew date). Nobody from the church will be there, as they’re all staying home until they test negative.I am unavailable this coming Friday, as I agreed to do a demo at Country Concessions for the three days of the Lake Loop Shop Hop (October 19-21), and right now I’m the only keyholder for our group.
However, Catherine Gerhart has kindly agreed to get my keys to the church from me Thursday evening at Guild, and facilitate a CQ sew day at the church on Friday for those that wish to attend. So: delete November 3rd and add October 20th to your CQ calendars.
